Danziger, Itzchak

(1916-78)

   Israeli sculptor. He was born in Berlin and settled in Palestine in 1923. He later taught at the Haifa Technicon. His early sculptures achieved a balance between Near Eastern sculpture and a modern concept of human form. He was awarded the Israeli Prize for Sculpture in 1968.
